The Challenge

Part of the same ownership as Walnut Village Resort, they once again had the same problem, pending stationary. They reached out & asked Perceptive to step in once more. They had no menus, which is ironic for a business model that serves food. The design process for the menu needed to be on brand, which we had to determine ourselves (there were no brand guidelines either). It was a challenge to design the menu from scratch but we like challenges & so we took it on!

What We Did

We designed & developed a comprehensive menu with all the items, sections, pages & elements from the existing brand identity. We adapted elements as per need & made sure the menu didn't look out of place. Every single element, from text to the logo to the details was put in with precision & accuracy, resulting in a sophisticated, elegant & most importantly, an on-brand menu design. As they look to expand the Brookside brand, they've stayed on for consistent design & development with Perceptive.

The Result

A refined menu design that brought Brookside Café’s visual identity into the dining experience. The final menu combined clear information hierarchy with a premium, resort-appropriate aesthetic, making the offerings easier to explore while reinforcing Brookside Café as part of the Walnut Village Resort experience.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL·Brookside
“We struggled with the absence of a proper, brand-styled menu but after working with Perceptive on a previous project, We knew we could rely on them with this one as well. They designed a stylized menu as per our brand's needs & delivered all necessary elements to ensure a seamless & error-free print. Seeing the menu in-person truly made me appreciate the quality & attention-to-detail of the design.”
